English-French Psychologist & Coach in Switzerland

I was born in Wales and moved to the Swiss Alps in 1994. Having initially obtained a BA in Social Sciences (Psychology and Law) at the University of Leicester (GB), I then accomplished a Masters in Educational Psychology at Lausanne University and a Coaching diploma. I continue to perfection my knowledge and training through regular further professional courses and supervision.

After holding various positions within the fields of education, tourism and services, I opened my private practice as an educational psychologist, based in the beautiful ski resort of Villars-sur-Ollon, in January 2004. I am called upon to provide my services to various local Swiss private schools as well as to Swiss and expatriated or mobile families.

In my work with children and adults, my aim is to enable them to recognise and use their strengths and potential, whilst also identifying their areas of need and any external support that may be necessary. The combination of psychology and coaching provides a basis for understanding the individual and work on precise targets to be reached. I regularly keep up to date with new assessments methods and in particular any developments in support methods for children with learning difficulties.

As I am perfectly bilingual in both English and French, all my services are available in both languages.

I am a member of the Swiss Federation of Psychologists (FSP) and the Swiss Association of Child and Adolescent Psychology (ASPEA), and am bound to resepct their deontological codes and ethics.
